Blue and Nude

| Wearing Top Shop Blouse | Hudson jeans | Steve Madden pumps | Michael Kors watch | Stella & Dot and ASOS bracelets |

I just spent an amazing few days in Vancouver at Fashion Week and have been rushing about with travel and putting together my article for the event.  Haven't had the time to blog!

I love this outift.  These jeans are my absolute favorite, are so comfortable and easy to wear and go with everyone.  This blouse is my new obsession! I love the color and the sheer fabric.  It can be worn on its own for a sexy look or can be layered with a cami for the office.

Steve Madden is such an amazing shoe designer.  I wore these shoes to fashion week and got many compliments... not to mention I was 6 feet tall with them all.

Stay tuned for my Fashion Week article with Fashion Weekly Magazine.

Striped Versatility

| Wearing Forever 21 top | H & M skirt| Steve Madden booties | ASOS necklace | Nixon watch | Smith sunglasses

I feel like stripes never really go out of style! I wore this black and white stripped sweater for a day of shopping in Phoenix, and a black and beige stripped maxi dress the day before.  This sweater is just further proof of my love affair with stripes!  I picked this beauty up from Forever 21 in Phoenix and have already worn it in so many different ways.  Its light weight and the sleeves are easily rolled up for warmer weather days or for a more casual look.

Sweaters like these can be paired with jeans for everyday, skirts to jazz it up, dress pants for the office, or denim shorts for cool summer evenings.  Whoever said horizontal stripes weren't flattering never owned a feel good sweater like this... plus it lets you channel your inner Charlie Brown.

Little BLUE Dress

| Wearing BB Dakota dress | Steve Madden booties | Urban Outfitters hat | H & M belt | ASOS jewellry |

So we all have that little black that we adore... the one that always looks good, is super comfortable, and cam be worn just about any way for any occasion.  Well, I also have a little blue dress that fits that description very well.  This piece of clothing is so simple but so comfortable and chic.  It was one of those items that I hum and haw'd over but am so glad I purchased.

This jersey dress is a great color for spring or summer.  I generally cinch the waste with a belt to give this outfit a little more shape at the waste.  I have worn it with tights and heels to work, booties and a hat to a back yard bbq and with wedge sandals and a sweater out for drinks.

Branch out, find a new little (insert color) dress and try something fresh and new.

Spring Maxi

| Wearing Eight-Sixty dress (similar style) | Bireknstock sandals | H & M necklace and ring |

Stripe Obsessed? I sure am, so obviously I adore this long striped maxi dress.  Stripes are the IT pattern for spring and summer. In fresh and vibrant colors, this popular pattern on maxi dresses can be both retro and modern, cute and sexy. They are practically all over the fashion time line because of the versatility plus they can be worn by ANYONE with any body shape. This year the patterns are big and bold in blacks, whites and creams, or sleek and slim in bright colors!

Stripes and maxis will be a continuing trend, so let your infatuation continue and purchase a few… or reuse your favorite dresses from last year as I did.  These simple cotton dresses are so comfortable but look so glamorous and chic because of the attractive skirt length and the contouring of the body.

Casual Afternoon

| Wearing Express jeans | Aritzia top | Aldo wedges | Michael Kors watch | Smith sunglasses | Stella & Dot bracelets |

Sometimes it’s just nice to wear jeans and a tank.  This was the perfect outfit for a long day of shopping in Phoenix.  It was easy to change in and out of and it didn’t lose its shape throughout the day as some outfits often do.

These are one of my favorite pairs of jeans.  They are so relaxed and comfy, yet can so easily be dressed up or down.  I hate flats, rarely wear them, so I paired these jeans with an ultra-comfortable pair of summer wedges and a crisp white tank from Aritzia.

We grabbed a bite to eat at the end of the day at a swank little pasta restaurant. I just threw on a structured blazer, touched up my lipstick and was ready for the evening of dinner and drinks.
